What do you guys think of freedom of speach in 2025s internet?
I think that you are not allowed to speak freely on most platforms. And when i say speak freely i dont mean to have right to offend people, just to have right to normaly tell your opinion.

I agree. Freedom of speech doesn't exist on the "free" platforms. Nice to see that some sane people who notice it still exist.

True and that's why closed communities (women only, trans only etc) exist. But if a community presents itself as open, not broadcasting something does say something about its morality imo.
No actyaly noone have to read my comment if they dont find it interesting. Or noone have to read my post if they dont see it interesting. Removing of comments and posts are directly wiolating freedom of speach.

That includes removing whatever post they like or dislike. If you post something against the terms of service and your post gets removed, that’s on you.

Noone is amplifing my opinion, they are just letting us all have our opinions. And they are not removing comment that are violating their terms of service they are removing coments that they dont like, even if they dont violate any terms. Also they are making terms of service very shady and unclear and brod so it gives them right to remove anything they dont like. Also they are not up front about it. If they honestly say yes we will remove any comment that we dont like than people would search for another platform that wont do that. This way they are directly deceiving people in thinking that they have freedom to tell their opinion when in reality they dont.
What do you think the terms and conditions when you make accounts are? That’s why they make you agree to them up front. You chose not to read them and ignore them.
On YouTube the channel operator and the company have a say in how they want their space to be. You have no right to insist on being heard in every damn room you enter. That includes “just leaving a comment for those that want to read it”
If the person or company doesn’t want your opinion in their room it is their right to remove it. Like it or not.
As of youtube, first of all thats not their space thats public space and they souldnt have pover to controll it. And im not hierd automaticly because i left a comment. There are many comments on video and i dont read them all so they are not hierd as you sad. But if someone wants to read my comment they should be free to do so. You dont have right to delete my comments. No its not their right to remove it, becayse i dont leave comment for them i leave comment for all the people that are watching a video.

YouTube is not a public space It’s YouTubes room. They make the rules and yes they have the power. What part don’t you understand?
Whatever comment you are leaving is unwelcome by the channel creator or YouTube and it’s within their rights to remove it.
Once again: No one is obligated to host your opinion in a private space. YouTube is not a public space.

No you are wrong, is it realy fair to put one small “i agree” button and have milion pages of text behand it? Is it ok to let people agree to all that text vithout realy reading it? No ofcourse not its built that way on purpose. Its by design made to lure you to just click ok without reading it, because thats what they want. They dont want you to read it, they want you to just clikc ok so they can continey to do what they want without you even knowing anything. It should be forbiden by law that you make text longer than 10 sentenses. Because realisticly noone can read it. Imagine that you need to read a 100 pages of text for every single app that you want just to try out. Imagine that you need to read 100 pages whenever new small update comes out for your system on your smartphone. And imagine doing the same for your pc, and also for every single app that you have. Every time new update comes out you need to read a 100 pages. Thats not posible and that should be ilegal!
Ok. So here the fun bit. I’m one of those people that does read them. I look into the privacy policy of the technology and websites that I use.
Most terms of service are very similar and are broken down into categories usually. Finding the content and privacy sections doesn’t take long and once you read a few they all become easier to understand.
You might not like it but “I agree” is enough to be legally binding. Just because you didn’t want to read doesn’t mean others don’t. There are a lot of laws and 10 sentences won’t cover that.
