Infinity works just as well as Sync on my phone.
What's wrong with Jerboa? Genuinely asking, I've been using it since I discovered Lemmy 1.5 months ago, and only had a problem once when the instances were down due to a critical vulnerability bug or something that happened last month, when I had to manually log out and log back in to fix it.
I couldn't post comments. Feeds wouldn't update. Subscriptions wouldn't load. It became unusable. Plus the UX is bad.
Jerboa is a bit hamstrung because it is written by the main lemmy developer who, understandably, has had to spend most of his available time dealing with the impact from lemmys sudden growth
