Making a film so bland and forgettable but still one of the coolest things I've ever seen is a feat.
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets was like that.
I loved everything about that move but the main two. It's like this highschool dweeb has an uncle that owns a movie studio and talked him into using it to woo his hot crush by casting her in a realization of love plot. Every character other than the horny dweeb and the chick that really doesn't want to bang him rocks their part and the plot is such a great concept and the graphics are tearjerkingly beautiful, and somehow none of it makes up for the two dinguses that hog the screen.
It was impressive how bad the Romance was. And how bad at acting the two leads were.
I suggest it to people strictly on that lol
Oh, that was one I meant to watch at some point. Adding to the queue.
what was the plot around the protagonists about? dunno. something stupid
doesn't matter, the rest was excellent
Was good books.
oh it didn't occur to me that there would be a book it's based on. im putting the first book on my wish list
usually the books hollywood puts through the grinder have much better stories and make me appreciate the films less
notable exception is lord of the rings, where the films were better than the books and maybe the new dunes as well
I’ve never watched the movie but I’ve probably seen most of the big action moments in clips on YouTube lol
