The furry artist was responding to someone saying his "hobby" was embarrassing. He posted the balance to show that his "hobby" is actually a very profitable business.
It's a brag, but a provoked one.

Except that something being profitable doesn't make it any more or less embarrasing. e.g. Landlords make lots of money yet we all hate them.
