A Red Scare is a form of moral panic provoked by fear of the rise of left-wing ideologies in a society, especially communism and socialism. It's just a boogeyman word to make them sound scary. Laura Loomer literally does not know what marxist means beyond "communism". In fact, she doesn't even know what communism is, she has just been told it's bad.

To be honest, it's the first time I read about her. I didn't know her before.

She was briefly on Trump's plane. Around the debate with Harris. It's likely he took the "eating the pets" line from her, since that was a rumor spread in nazi circles, particularly on Gab.
It's also possible they had an affair during that time. MTG got really angry with Loomer and they started trashing each other on Twitter for all to see. It was glorious.
