So...could we get a sticky explaining what happened?
Like why do we have the domain again? Where are the Megas? Is everything back to normal? What happened withthe auction?
I feel like I worked a ten hour shift and came back and the site was back and everyone who was online when it happened knows why and there's no mega to ask a simple question. There are dozens of us.

hexbear.net seems to work properly right now. Is this legit? Maybe the fabled “cached dns”?
It appears that a domain transfer was performed to CloudFlare, but considering that should not have been possible since the domain is up for auction, my guess is: This transfer could be reversed.
I don't think the nameserver being Cloudflare is the same thing as being transferred (pretty sure it was cloudflare before this situation), lots of sites use cloudflare but use different registrar
