EDITED to note: I did not realize when I posted this that it was actually written in October, 2025 about an older NYT op-ed, because the complaint is exactly the same. Fresh off the NYT article, I happened to see this in the sidebar of the Common Dreams article about Saturday's (March 28, 2026) protests. My error. Thanks to @AmidFuror@fedia.io in /c/politics for pointing it out.
